01 · THE DESIGN
Orange, yellow and white form the small pattern against blue. Its fine contrasts emerge close up; choose just one colour to echo elsewhere in the outfit.
02 · FABRIC AND CRAFT
100% silk twill, with a pure wool interlining. The silk comes from Como.
The fabric is folded to create a seven-fold construction. Handwork and blanket-stitch finishing characterise the making of this tie.

03 · THE KNOT AND STYLING
Try it with a medium-grey jacket and a white shirt. White echoes the pattern while orange and yellow enliven the blue.
